An Update

Well we've come to the middle of the month and I thought I would give you all a quick update on my progress with the Wayward Transparency quilt. To be honest I have had very little quilting time this month.  My extended family and I have been very busy every weekend with clearing out my aunt's apartment.  We are almost finished.  We expect to go down again on Saturday to finish things up.
The month has also been a busy one with meetings but I have managed to finish one of the two B blocks.

With half a month left to go and the bulk of the work done on my aunts apartment I think I should be able to find enough time to finish before Yvonne's  linkup closes. For now I'll link up with Lorna at the Let's Bee Social linkup.

I don't envy you the task of cleaning up a loved ones home. I am glad you have help and am almost finished. Don't worry, quilting will wait. The transparency quilts are so interesting - too many quilts to make! Yours looks like it will make a great quilt.

This photograph truly captures the name of your blog: Sunlight in Winter! I hope that you can easily finish up your aunt's apartment this weekend, and I think you will be more than able to finish in time for the link up.

I think this is my favorite colorway of the Wayward. The warmth and glow of that golden yellow is just amazing! I agree with Yvonne, it captures the name of your blog! All that clearing and decision making for your aunt is hard work; sure hope you are done with it soon.

Wow, the colors are just vibrant Lisa. Great choices. Like the others said, it is a great representation of your blog's name. You could make a really cool banner with this quilt on the snow. Good luck getting finished. You're almost there!

Apartment is much less daunting than house, but still. Hurrah to you and your sister for doing this for your aunt. Your quilt colours look great. Big hugs.

Gorgeous colors, Lisa. I am so craving the warmth of those fabrics as it continues to be so cold here. You must be Sunlight in Winter!!! :-D
