See those little brown and cream 1/2 square triangles in the middle of the block? Those are 1/2 square triangles for the Mod Bear Paw quilt along. I will likely never catch up with that quilt along but I'm happily piecing along at my own pace. Maybe I'll have my top together by the final linkup and if I'm lucky maybe Lorna will let us link up our completed tops.
I would like to give a shout out to Raewyn of Stitching Farm Girl who shared a link to making 8 hsts at a time which I am now using. I've very happy for this. Thank you Raewyn.
I also finished my October block for Stash Bee Hive 8. This one is going to the other Lisa in my Hive.
It's a really pretty block. It was very easy to sew together but tricky to find just the right fabrics to put into it and to arrange them in a pleasing manner. I've really enjoyed being in the bee. It was sometimes challenging, but lots of fun trying out the different blocks my fellow members asked for. It was also so exciting to have my blocks all arrive at my house over one month!
If you are interested in joining Stash Bee for 2017 the sign up is on November 1st.
I'm linking this post up to Main Crush Monday hosted by Beth of Cooking Up Quilts.

Your are making great progress! I would consider that caught up too! Love the fussy cutting in the Stash Bee block!
I am behind on the meadow mist. I like the splashes of blue in the pink block
Your are coming right along with all your projects. I still need to tackle Meadow Mystery for the month. The bear paw blocks seem never ending, but we will both get there!
I'm glad things have settled down and it sounds like life has found a bit of a rhythm. I love that dark navy fabric for your Meadow Mystery quilt. :)
I have not even started the Meadow Mist process. It might have been that one project too many after all =) The Bee block is lovely and very pleasing to the eye. It will work well with the others - though I have to confess that post stamp quilts - no matter what colour - are just too busy for my liking =) =) =)
Great looking blocks, I love your mystery quilt fabrics!
Well done for being caught up! Love the blue fabric with the pink crescent moon. So cool!
Have to many projects to join Stash Bee but I do follow it. ;^D
Very nice! (I really need to finish last year's mystery quilt.)
I haven't gotten October done yet, but as you say, there's still more month left. LOL I like that blue print.
I'm making the Mystery quilt too!! I had hoped to join in on the Mod Bear Paw, but just couldn't swing it right now! Your blocks look very fine!
HI Lisa - good to see you making progress! Love the colours you're doing your Meadowmist QAL in - wow what a difference in size between the two projects!! Thanks for the shout out - you are welcome:-)
Isn't it great to be 'caught up', or I imagine it is anyway. I thought I was on the Meadowmist quilt, but I somehow miss cut a QST and now I have to cut more fabric. Your colours are lovely, you must have some beautiful fabrics in your stash.
Great progress! Those HSTs in Mod Bear Paw are very time consuming.
I'm not caught up at all! I haven't started the October directions for the Meadow Mystery quilt yet - gonna get there this week I hope. That big square in the middle - is that the September directions? Because that is not what I ended up with for September. I better go back and look again...Anyway, I've been traveling a lot this month so very little sewing. Just came back from New England, and before that was in California. Really lucky am I - I saw WHALES - lots of them. One of my life's highlights, I must say. Anyway. hopefully I'll get back to sewing very soon. Maybe today if I get off the computer....
You're taking part in so many projects, Lisa, it's great to have made progress on all of them. Your meadow mystery is just glowing and the pink block is super lovely.
Love your stash bee block, it is so happy! Congrats on being caught up on the mystery quilt, I'm still working on last years! LOL
Ha, well 3 weeks minus 4 days now since I'm only reading this on Friday, for me to do the October step too. Not sure it will happen with all that's going in my life at the moment...Your teeny HST for Lorna's Mod Bear Par made me grin. And you pulled together some fabulous fabrics for the bee block!
Looks like you've made a lot of great progress. Sometimes working at your own pace, rather than at someone else's proposed timeline just works out better. I like to take advantage of work spurts to get caught up.
looks caught up in my books! those tiny tiny blocks in the bear paw quilt are oh so tiny.
having enjoyed Yvonne's quilt a long this year, I think I will go that way next year instead of rejoining stash bee.
