One Monthly Goal for July

I'm having a hard time choosing which quilt I would like to work on this month.....so I think I will cheat a bit for my one monthly goal ......and just let you know that I would like to get the quilting done for one of these three quilts.  It could be

1. Circle of Friends

Or 2.  This donation quilt...which actually has been sewn into a quilt top with a lot of negative space...but I haven't shared it in a photo yet.

Or 3.  The second quilt top I ever finished.

I have a rough plan for how I would like to quilt each of these.  I just have to pick one and go for it.  My time will still be limited as my son's new work contract has started and my daughter in law will still need help with the kids.  But I do have a week off work this month so I'm super optimistic that I'll be able to make great head way that week.

I had been planning to pin baste one of the tops on Friday but I think I may have to go in to Toronto to see my aunt.  I've been so busy with the kids that I haven't seen her for several weeks.  My sister has been picking up the slack.

I'll be linking this post up to the OMG link up for July and with the Let's Bee Social link up.  See you there.

Good luck with your goal. At the end of the month it will be a surprise for us to see which quilt you worked on. Looks like a busy month too. Don't forget that we do this for the fun of quilting so don't exert yourself. ;^)

All three of these quilts are great choices, who knows you may surprise yourself and be able to squeak out two finishes :)

I hope that you have a nice visit with your aunt this week. I like the "surprise" aspect of which of the three that you pick to quilt! :)

Looking forward to seeing what your finish is for July!

Your #3 has similar colors and pattern to one of my early quilts. It's already finished and gifted, so I am sure you can do yours. Good luck with your goals. The circle of friends is on my to-do list.

Enjoy those social times with family!! I'll be watching these projects, though--always on the lookout for different ideas of how to quilt things. (I'm liking the snow in that one picture. It's headed toward the 90's here and that looks so refreshing. Of course, it probably didn't seem that way when you took the picture, right?)

I would pick Quilt #2 because the colors are so cheerful. But there is no wrong answer here and eventually all of them will be finished. Good luck, Lisa!!!

All are good choices, I would just randomly pick one.

Hi Lisa, I think that choosing one of the quilts is a great idea because it's all about how you feel that day! Good luck (and I absolutely love your Circle of Friends)

I'm interested in how you will quilt your circle of friends so that gets my vote, but I guess you will already have started it and the other two are good choices too. Enjoy your time with your family, it is lovely they have you to help, and Good Luck with your goal.
