The first quarter is over and I managed to finish only one of my goals....so for this quarter there is a lot I can carry forward, but I think I'll drop a couple of goals and replace them with others. I'm in the make the list long camp, although sometimes when I see other peoples long lists I think I'm in the make the list medium camp. I like to keep my options open.
So carried forward from the 1st quarter list.
1. The second quilt top I made. I've sewn the back together and bought the batting so I'm feeling positive about this ones chances for a finish.
2. Snowflake Shimmer: This is from a quilt along with Quilting Jetgirl last summer and it would be nice to get this beauty done....but I have a couple of other things I'd like to quilt first so it may slide over into quarter 3.
3. Clam Shell: I think the top is more than 1/2 finished so it would be good to nudge it further.
4.Circle of Friends. These are my stash bee blocks from 2016. I'm being held back by not having a large enough squaring up ruler....I really need to borrow one.
5. Tea Cozy. This is a present for my 88 year old aunt so I should get a move on.
What I'm adding to the list
6.Quilt made with charm squares:
7 & 8.Quilt Remix : turn the blocks I made for the Quilt Remix workshop at Quilt Con into quilts.
Well this is more than enough to keep me busy, so I'll end the list here and link up to the 2017FAL Quarter 2 with Leanne of She Can Quilt.....buttons on the side bar, and because I haven't been to sociable of late I'll link this list up with Let's Bee Social at Sew Fresh Quilts. Hi Lorna!

Hi Lisa,
you always have such pretty projects going, such a diversity =) I only finfished one project last quater but as previously said, I refuse to stress about it. Sewing is only my hobby not my business after all. I hope that you will manage to progress some projects and am looking forward to reading along. Happy springtime thoughts from Berlin. (I might hive crash your windmill plus sign block on stash bee, just so you know =)
Hi. I love your list - medium- long camp!
Haha! your tea cozy for your aunt made me smile and reflect! I know having stuff around that we are making for people get to remind us of those people that we hold dear, and you know what, that is just fine. Just remember to let her know you are thinking of her often.
Great projects! Thanks for linking up to Sew Some Love!
Lots of fun projects. Your blocks look so crisp.
You have quite a lot to work on! I especially like Snowflake Shimmer. I don't often see quilts with a darker background nowadays, and I can imagine that one making a great 'manly' gift. Though I would be happy to have it in my room as well!
Oh Lisa you have some gorgeous projects on your list that will be lovely to work on. Good luck with them all!!
Good luck with your projects on your list.
I love the colours in your top quilt, the green and bright colours make me think of tulips and spring (and not the nasty grey weather we're having right now). For squaring up, I use my cutting mat and rectangular ruler to do one side at a time--either my 6"x24" or my 3"x18". If however some of those bee blocks are less than 12.5" unfinished--you can either square all of them to the smallest size, or border each one (like I did my Modern Butterfly quilt).
Wow, love that Snowflake Shimmer! I think I'd move your aunt's tea cozy to the top of the list.
I like your projects, especially the first quilt you showed. Any of these projects would be a pleasure to work on, so I'm sure you'll make some progress.
Great goals. I really love your snowflake shimmer and can't wait to see how you quilt it.
Hi Lisa! You have some really great projects on your list... I am rooting for the first item to get finished. I love the citrus feel of that one and it makes me think of summer. But I am also drawn to those charm squares because of the bright and happy mix of colours in that one. Best of luck in meeting your goals for the month!
You have a lot of amazing projects in the works! I love your snowflake shimmer quilt! Were having Latifah teach at our guild and I'm excited that one of the classes is clam shells!
That's a long list Lisa. Snowflake Shimmer is lovely, but I'm really looking forward to seeing your version of Circle of Friends. Now you have your new table you have no excuses.
Good luck with your list. I kept mine super short this quarter since I'm not very hopeful of much sewing time. I figure if I keep my expectations low, then I stand a chance of maybe reaching the goal.
