Midnight Mystery Crush

Somewhere in the craziness that became my life in February I managed to squeeze in the time to sew my Midnight Mystery blocks into a quilt top.

So I'm crushing on the fact that I got it done and that it turned into a pretty little quilt in the end.  I had some serious reservations about my fabric choices during the construction.  This pattern is so striking that it looks great in a lot of different fabric choices.  The face book page for the quilt along let us see lots of different versions of the quilt.  Thanks Cheryl for this great quilt along and wonderful mystery quilt. I'm pretty sure I'll be quilting along for the next one. I'm linking up with Main Crush Monday.

I love this so much! I loved the soft pinks and turquoise from the first time you showed them to us. Congrats on your finish.

This turned out so lovely. Soft and feminine. I do not make too many overly girly looking quilts but this color combination looks like nice together. I look forward to seeing how you finish your top. I need to quilt mine yet.

Congratulations on your finish. I think your fabric choice works well; I'm glad you kept going, despite your reservations.

It's great - I've seen some that I didn't like at all. Hard to choose colors when one has not idea how they are going to hang, but I like the subtleness of these. Fun.

Aha. I see the clothes line! That turned out to be beautifully soft and feminine.

Lisa, the quilt looks like a watercolor painting the way you have it hanging - it is so pretty! Yay for getting the flimsy finished, and thanks so much for sharing this on MCM!
