Slow Stitching Binding and more Binding.

It's been a while since I did any hand work and I haven't linked up with the slow stitchers at Kathy's blog.  I've made up for that in the last week.  I don't work on Fridays and I spent pretty much the whole day slow stitching this binding on this quilt.

Finishing this quilt was my January goal for a Year of Lovely Finishes and I really wanted to get it done.  I couldn't spread much of the hand stitching to Saturday because I spent most of Saturday at a workshop at our Guild with the talented Maggie VanderWeit.  What fun that was I'll post about it later in the week.  I did meet my January goal  although my body is paying for it now.  If you would like to see the finished quilt and my free motion quilting you can go here.

I've spent this snowy day today at Meditation Group and walking on an indoor track with my good friend Pauline.  So now I think I'm ready for some more binding.  It's a small project this time.  It should be done in a flash.

I'm linking up with Kathy and the other hand stitchers at Slow Sunday Stitching

Your Giant Chevron is absolutely gorgeous Lisa!!! I love all the color, and the quilting makes it even more special. I wish I had known about that QAL - I could sure use the practice on my fmq :*)
