and they will soon be joined by this little partially made block,
and here's what the 4 completed blocks look like together on the design wall.
Hmm I seem to have cut off the bottom of the blocks in this photo. I'm not sure if I will stop at 6 blocks or 9. I guess I'll keep going until I tire of them, or until my grey scraps run out.
Last month I had the good fortune to win the $30 gift certificate from Mad About Patchwork. It was very exciting. I used the gift certificate to buy fat quarter bundle of Moonshine by Tula Pink.
But of course I couldn't stop at just one purchase so I added the Handcrafted bundle from Alison Glass to my order.
I added the cutter to the photo to give an indication of the scale of the designs. I have no plans for the Tula Pink at the moment but I'm planning on a large scale cross block for the
Handcrafted. I'll be joining the link up which is hosted jointly by Nicky at Mrs Sew and Sow and Leanne at She Can Quilt. I'll also link up on Wednesday with Lorna at Let's Bee Sewcial

I love those splashes of colour amidst the greys :)
Your blocks look lovely ! What grey does combined with bright colours always suprises me. Congrats on your winning and purchases. Curious what you are going to do with them. Never mind the no plans with Tula Pink ones, a girl has to have pettingfabric too.
The grey blocks with the pop of color are striking! I love the tula pink fabrics you chose too. www.quiltartbymegan.com
Yeah to the win! Glad you found somethings you like! Love the grey blocks - what a difference the shot of colour makes! Thanks for linking up to #scraptastictuesday
I am making a quilt with Handcrafted by Alison Glass as well, that is some beautiful fabric!
Love those grey improv blocks... I think I could make quite a few before my grey scraps ran out! And those fabric purchases are lovely. I've been very tempted by the Tula Pink selection!
The bright centers are beautiful, especially because they stand out all the brighter because of the greys. How large are the blocks. It's always hard to tell size from a photo.
Sorry Nancy: I should have put that in the post. The blocks are 6 1/2 inches. They'll finish at 6 inches.
Hope you are sharing your Tula Pink
Very pretty block. Did I miss that you're paper-piecing? These look like they would be much easier in PP. I love the pops of color amid the grays!
You can't go wrong with Tula! I'm interested to see where the improv is going; like the pops of colour in the centres, surrounded by so many interesting greys.
